PINKY G'S BIG SKY

Cures for COVID-19 cabin fever

Now that winter is coming to a close and Big Sky has begun it’s summer thaw, we are all eager to get outside and shed our winter skin. Thankfully, with the rising temperatures we have options to safely play outside while abiding the social distancing guidelines. To cure cabin fever, we have prepared a list of the perfect way to enjoy our own beautiful backyard.

Take home a Pinky G’s pizza kit

Of course being the pizza addicts that we are, what did you expect? Each kit comes with a small or large dough ball, house-made marinara, and your chose of cheese and toppings. Open a bottle of wine for a romantic date night in or two bottles of wine for the parents who have been cooped up and get the kids involved. The beauty of making your pizzas at home? Everyone gets exactly what they want! Make it a competition and see who can create the best tasting pie…winner chooses dessert?

Scenic wildlife drive

Driving through West Yellowstone while spotting a Bison or Big Horn Sheep never gets old. We are fortunate to share our home with a wide variety of wildlife. The late spring and early summer are a great time to head to Yellowstone with bears and other critters emerging from hibernation. Pack up the car with some binoculars and a picnic to make a day out of sightseeing.

Give back

If you are interested in volunteering, the BSCO has made the process seamless. There are a multitude of volunteer opportunities ranging from trash pickup while hiking a Big Sky trail to delivering food boxes for the Big Sky food bank. There are also volunteer opportunities you can do from home. All acts are greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. For more information on how you can help our community, visit the BSCO’s site.

We hope some of our ideas helped inspire you to shake up your stay at home routine. Now get out of that Snuggie and get outside!

XOXO
